Dick Portillo went to the same high school I went to. He and his wife just built a million(s) dollar Fine Arts Center at the school (Argo Community High School). Yes, I was a thespian there back in the day.
FWIW...Portillo's is pretty good. Good beef sandwiches. Although I am not sure how much the food has changed, or will change, now that he has sold the business.
